Our institutional business segment includes Fixed Income Sales and Trading, Municipal Securities and Public Finance, Corporate Finance, Securities Lending and Equity and Portfolio Trading. These businesses serve the varied needs of our institutional customers – corporations, insurance companies, mutual funds, securities broker-dealers, banks and other financial institutions, municipalities, school districts and other governmental subdivisions.

Taxable Fixed Income

The Taxable Fixed Income Division is a leading trader and underwriter of fixed income securities. The division has a wide area of expertise which includes: CDs, CDARs, Corporate Bonds, Government Agencies, MBS/CMBS/ABS Securities, UITS, US Treasuries, Structured Products, and Preferreds. The division also sells a broad range of products through its Retail and wholesale desks.

Securities Lending

The Securities Lending Division operates a conduit or matched book business. The division’s experienced professionals rely on their extensive relationships to facilitate borrow and loan transactions with registered broker-dealers nationwide.

Equity and Portfolio Trading

The Equity and Portfolio Trading staff takes pride in providing best execution and impeccable service from trade initiation to settlement. The division employs cutting-edge technology to deliver order flow to market centers for execution and trades baskets of securities for institutional clients in the specialized area of portfolio trading.
